How to Create a Custom Login Screen for your Wordpress Blog ?

If you are a designer and have created a great looking custom Wordpress blog for your client, polishing off your design with a customized login page could very well be the extra detail that separates you from the vast majority of graphic design professionals in the field.

Step1

Download the Binary Moon (BM) Custom Login Plug-In for WordPress (link to Plug-In in Resources Below). Unzip the file and Open the bm-custom-login file and locate the image-templates folder.

Step2

With your favorite image editing program, change the two graphics in the image-templates folder to coordinate with the custom WordPress theme you are working on. Resave in the images folder (make sure to remove "-SAMPLE" from the file name when you save).

Step3

Default WordPress login Screen Upload the Plug-In folder to your "/wp-content/plugins/" directory. Login to WordPress and activate the Plug-In. Now log out.

Step4

Custom Login after using Plug In The next time you log in, you will see your new, custom login screen and your client will be extremely happy with your custom graphic design work.
