Avoid Spoof Hijacking

So you have gone to a website that tells you in a windows, window that your system is infected, and you can run their program to clean it up. Don't click on anything! In the following article you will learn how to get away from this and how to get rid of it.

Step1
The program will call itself 1 of a few things. Usually the one constant will be Microsoft XP or Vista 2008 or 2009 Virus Scan. This is a really tough adversary to eliminate. If you get onto a site that shows you that message do the following DO NOT CLICK ON ANYTHING IN THAT WINDOW. NOT OK, CANCEL, OR THE X, INSTEAD CLICK ALT+F4 THIS WILL CLOSE THE WINDOW WITHOUT ACTIVATING THE PROGRAM. However if you get it, & catch it early enough in the infection you can beat it.
Step2
Run either spyware hunter, or spybot search & destroy and MCAfee or Norton, and if you can Adaware (by Lavasoft) all at once. This will hit it from every angle.
Step3
You will also see the file names go in and hand remove the files in the directories named. This entire process may need repeating once, or twice.
